For
me I found the story awesome because the strength of Bernardo Carpio is unbelievable
and when he was a kid he is so very strong at the age of one he can already pull
a nail.
The story is all about a kid who is
very strong. And one time he fell from their stairs, a priest came to their
home and treated the wound of the kid and the parents of the kid named him
Bernardo Carpio based on a great warrior who is brave, distinguished, legendary.
When Bernardo Carpio grows older his strength is getting more unbelievable and
one time he and his father went to the jungle and hunt. Bernardo Carpio pushed
some of the trees to make a way to go wild jungle of San Mateo. Like his father
he grew up nice, helpful, brave. One time Bernardo was bored and went to the
jungle and saw a horse who fell from a gorge and broke his leg. Bernardo Carpio
quickly ran to the injured horse and take the horse to their home and take a
good care of it and named the horse Higbis.
From that day, Bernardo and HIGBIS are always together when going to the jungle of San Mateo. Meanwhile, the tyranny of the Spaniards to the freedom of the Filipinos and Bernardo Carpio become the leader of the Filipinos but one time the Spaniards set a trap for Bernardo Carpio and he wasn’t able to avoid the two big rock and starting that day Bernardo Carpio didn’t come back anymore because some says when he tries to push the two rocks it cause an earthquake.

I think I learned a lot from this
story. One is don’t let anyone destroy your freedom. Anyone could be a good
leader and to be a good leader is to have good and brave heart.
