Critic of "Why is the Sea Salty" by: Julienne Rae Obedoza
Long, long time ago in the south coast of asia, there is a big cave whom lived a giant named asong. The villagers knew him for being a helpful giant he helps to transport salt from the mountains of their village for everyday use. But once, from the other wons heard about how productive the village was, they planned to associate with the villagers there; but honestly they want to invade the place. They forced to set a deal with, the villagers for a promise of greater production in return, the villagers disagreed because they knew what the other towns knew about asong, and maybe will capture asong and make it as a source of entertainment to everyone. And news flies and asong heard the news immediately and his anger defeated him. He range directly to the invaders and drove them away for the villagers. The villagers celebrated for what asong the giant dud for them, even though asong drove the invaders away the villagers knew that the invaders do everything just to get asong. Meanwhile, while asong was transferring bags and bags of salt from the mountains to village the invaders sneaked tp the forest as soon as asong reach the shore they broke a jar full of ants that attack asong. Asong left because of the ant bites he couldn't control his balance and fell down splashing into the water. Because of what happened the villagers rose up and fight back to the invaders and in the end, they defeated the town people.
The story is interesting because it is all about helping each other. I enjoyed reading the story because of the giant he was helpful. People like pulling people down than raising them up.
